To optimize the efficiency of large scale crypto-mining operations.
At Goldenstrike, we all come to work every day because we want to solve the biggest problem in crypto-mining: Efficiently managing a large scale operation. Crypto-mining is an evolving landscape, one that will continue to change as new emerging technologies are introduced to the market. Manufacturers build new mining hardware as difficulties rise, software developers create new mining clients to help the community, and investors are looking to take advantage of this modern day gold rush.
Throughout the history of crypto-mining, there have been multiple key entry points that investors have quickly taken advantage of. Our mission at Goldenstrike is to provide clarity to companies looking to enter the crypto-mining community and to help those currently involved maintain healthy operations.
Shane began CPU mining bitcoin in 2011 and has continuously stood at the forefront of crypto mine development in Western Canada. In early 2013, Shane began building, selling, servicing and offering hosting packages for GPU miners, and later that year, Shane was given the opportunity by investors to help build the first commercial mine in Western Canada. During this time, the introduction of ASIC (application specific integrated circuit) miners brought a new wave of capability into the crypto-mining market and both Shane's private mining operation and his hosting facilities grew rapidly. Shane pivoted Goldenstrike into the crypto-mining consulting firm it is today, utilizing his experience and knowledge as Managing Director to help others build and maintain profitable mining operations. Frustrated with lack of reliable and trustworthy mining software, Goldenstrike’s signature product Ground Control broke ground.

He continuously strives to help companies achieve significant profitability by eliminating the shortcomings of product designs and internal operations. Drawing from his experience at major fortune 500 companies such as Alpha Technologies and Tesla Motors, Sheldan focuses on overseeing the daily operations at Goldenstrike, liaising between the engineering teams and the Managing Director.
